Welcome to Saucier Elementary!

Saucier Elementary School serves 390 students, kindergarten to sixth grade, through 54 dedicated faculty members. It offers its students a state-of-the-art learning environment with Internet access in all classrooms so all students can become part of the global society. Most classrooms have four computers for students to use during the school day. Students are also provided the option to check out a personal laptop for use during the schoolyear.  Students have access to a fully automated library and media center as well. A variety of educational programs such as after-school tutoring, Enrichment courses, and online curricula provide students with a wealth of opportunity to excel and achieve. Each teacher can better meet student needs as well with data warehousing resources developed by district personnel. These resources allow teachers to profile the past performance of a student and better meet the specific needs of the individual student.

The school day begins at 7:00 and the tardy bell rings at 7:30. Breakfast is served from 7:00 - 7:25.  If you would like your child to eat breakfast in the cafeteria, they must be at school by 7:20. After the tardy bell has rung, all parents must check their children into the office when arriving on campus.

Morning car riders may be dropped off no earlier than 7:00 AM until 7:25 AM.  The tardy bell rings at 7:30.  All students must be in their seats, ready to learn at that time.  The first dismissal bell rings at 2:11 PM.  According to the Harrison County School District policy, students will not be allowed to check out 30 minutes prior to dismissal.  Therefore, no student will be called to check out after 1:45.

We thank you for your support and look forward to partnering with you for a great school year!
